Triangle Murder Victim Was Alexandria Dad, Loved Ones Say Amid Search For Killer

Support is on the rise for the family of a Virginia man gunned down earlier this month.

Qutrail Raynard Smalls was shot and killed on Wharf Lane in Triangle on Nov. 14, Prince William County police said. 

A search for his killer, Tyus James Terrell, 27, of Fredericksburg, is under way, they said.

Meanwhile, more than $1,400 had been raised on a GoFundMe launched for Smalls' family as of Wednesday, Nov. 29.

Smalls is survived by his daughter, his parents, five siblings, and a host of loved ones.

A reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of Terrell is being offered. Anyone who knows Terrell's whereabouts is urged to call police immediately.
